Import a floor plan

Turn a PNG, JPG or PDF of a floor into a plan you can place desks on.

For Properties admins and System admins. If you don't see this in your menu, ask an admin in your organisation.

  1. In Floor plans, pick the office and select More, then Import floor plan.
  2. Select Choose file and pick a PNG, JPG or PDF. For a PDF, choose the page.
  3. Axlespace traces the walls and closed rooms. Use Wall darkness, Close doorways and Detail until the outline looks right.
  4. Fix the outline by dragging corners. Drag the middle of an edge to add a corner, or select a corner and Remove corner.
  5. Under Save as, choose A new draft floor and name it, or redraw an existing floor.
  6. Optionally enter the building's width in metres, then save.

A clean plan with dark walls on white works best. Crop away title blocks and borders before you import.

Redrawing an existing floor keeps its desks, markers and zones where they are. The file is processed in your browser.
