Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

These terms are a contract between your organisation and Axle Group Pty Ltd (ACN 701 744 229) (“Axlespace”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Axlespace web app and this website. If your organisation has signed an agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence where it differs. The line in italics under each heading is a summary, not a substitute for the words below it. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].

1. Accounts and access

Your organisation decides who gets in.

  • Axlespace is for organisations. People get access by signing in with their organisation's Microsoft account or by accepting an invitation. There is no open sign-up.
  • Your organisation's admins control who has access and what they can do, and can remove people at any time.
  • You're responsible for everything done under your login. Tell your admin or us straight away if you think someone else has access.

2. Your organisation's responsibilities

Use Axlespace lawfully with your staff.

  • Tell your staff that Axlespace records bookings and check-ins, and that colleagues and admins can see them, and give any notice workplace laws require.
  • Keep floor plans, spaces and booking rules accurate.
  • Make sure you have the right to put the data you add into Axlespace, including staff details and floor plans.

3. Fees

As agreed in your agreement with us.

  • Any fees, billing period and payment terms are set out in your agreement with us.
  • We can change fees with at least 30 days' notice, applying from your next billing period.
  • If an invoice stays unpaid after we've reminded you, we may suspend access until it's paid. Your data stays.

4. Your data

It's your organisation's. We only use it to run Axlespace.

  • Your organisation owns the data it and its people put into Axlespace.
  • You give us permission to store, process, back up and display it so we can provide the service, and to use it in de-identified, aggregated form to improve the product.
  • Admins can export reports at any time.
  • How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. What Axlespace does, and what it doesn't

We help you share space. Some things stay your call.

  • A booking isn't a guarantee. Spaces can be unavailable because of closures, maintenance or changes your admins make.
  • Floor plans aren't safety plans. Exits, first-aid kits and other markers are shown as your admins placed them. They don't replace your building's evacuation plans or signage.
  • Reports are indicative. Utilisation depends on people checking in. Use reports alongside your own knowledge of the office.
  • Our Disclaimer has more detail.

6. Don't do this

The usual.

  • Don't break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or use Axlespace to harass or monitor someone covertly.
  • Don't try to break into, overload, reverse-engineer or scrape Axlespace, or resell access to it.
  • Don't upload malware, or content you don't have the right to share.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for always on, but we're software.

  • We work hard to keep Axlespace available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need downtime for maintenance and will try to warn you first.
  • We keep improving Axlespace and may add, change or retire features. If we retire something you rely on, we'll tell you in advance.

8. Our stuff

Your organisation owns its data; we own the app.

Axlespace, its code, design, name and logo belong to us. Your organisation gets a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Axlespace while it has an account. Feedback you send us can be used without any obligation to you.

9. Ending things

Leave as your agreement allows. We can suspend accounts that break the rules.

  • Your organisation can stop using Axlespace at the end of its billing period, or as its agreement says.
  • We can suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or if it's used in a way that harms Axlespace or other users. Where we can, we'll warn you first.
  • After closure, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

Consumer guarantees stay. Beyond those, our liability is limited to what you've paid us.

  • Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded. Where the law lets us limit liability for breach of a consumer guarantee, we limit it to re-supplying the service or refunding what you paid for it.
  • Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything arising from Axlespace in any 12-month period is capped at the fees paid to us in that period, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss or lost profits.

11. Changes to these terms

We'll tell you before anything important changes.

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll give organisation admins at least 30 days' notice by email. Minor changes take effect when posted with a new “Last updated” date.

12. Disputes and law

Talk to us first. Victorian law applies.

If there's a problem, email [email protected] and we'll try to sort it out within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we agree to the courts of Victoria.
